We cleaned road sides from Werahara Junction towards Boralesgamuwa junction. Collected about 20 garbage bags of plastic and polyethene garbage. And provided meals, tea and young coconuts for the participants. About 20 lions and leos attended for this event.

Provision of scholarship for school students.

Monthly scholarship payment was made to local students on 28.09.2024 . This project is our signature project. We have done this project more than 20 Years. Payment is being done Parallel to Finland scholarship program. Each and every month payment are being made same venue. Project chairperson is PDG LION NIMAL ALUTHGE. He is distributing money. Total beneficiaries-10 Amount paid to each students-Rs 2000.00.

The Heart to Heart Kindness Multi-Service Project was held jointly by District 306 A2, Regional No. 5 and 6 on October 26 at Kevitiagala College, and for that, Horana West Lions Club and Ceylinco Life together with Ceylinco Life Institute for creating job opportunities for young people under the career guidance project. 71 young people were registered for job training. Participating president lion Asanga Wijewardhana Ranasingha and secretary lion Yasintha senanayake.
