Empowering Women Through Bakery Product Demonstrations

This workshop, conducted by Manjula Fernando of Prima Ceylon Pvt Ltd, was designed to provide high-quality bakery production skills to 60 women from the Galle area. The program emphasized techniques and practices that adhere to superior standards, empowering participants to achieve excellence in bakery production. The session concluded with each participant receiving a gift pack containing Prima products. Special guest District 8 1st Co-Lion President Lion Ravi Kalansooriya graced the occasion, adding inspiration and encouragement to the attendees.

AROGAYA - HUSMA

Portable video bronchoscopes (disposable) and portable monitoring equipment, valued at approximately 2.5 million LKR, were generously donated to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila. These advanced medical devices are invaluable for the treatment of patients with critical conditions. The handover ceremony took place on the hospital premises, graced by the presence of the Medical Administration Director, Dr. Sagari Kiriwandeniya, along with the dedicated medical staff. The event was also attended by the 306 A2 Lion District Governor and senior members of the Lions Clubs, reflecting their ongoing commitment to community welfare. This significant contribution will undoubtedly enhance the hospital's capacity to provide high-quality care and support to those in need.
