Monthly scholarship payment to local Foster children was made on 19.04.2025. 10 local students Were given monthly scholarship. This is a Signature project of the club . Each and every month payment are being made to students. Lion Nimal Aluthge is the project chairperson. Since this is our signature project each and every month club banners are not displayed. Monthly scholarship payment to local Foster children (Stage 3)was made on 25.04.2025. Project chairperson lion Nimal aluthge. Lion Lalith Wijayasiri sponsored the 40 students. Each and every children paid Rs 3000.00 per month. Scholarship payment started on February 2025. Lion Lalith Wijayasiri sponsored the payment Each and every month for 2 years period. Amount paid to children Rs 120000.00( 3000×40)

Constructed and Handed over the new "GANTARA KULUNA" at Sri Dharmaramaya temple Batuwita. Construction started on 10.03.2025 and Handed over the project on 12.04.2025. Project chairperson lion Lalith Wijayasiri. Handing over ceremony was held with Bhodi Pooja Pinkama. Participation-lions 12 L/L5 others 100 (people of the Area) "DAYAKA" District project coordinator lion prof.Sumanarathne Amarathunge also participated to the event. A donation of 25,000 was made to the Bonavistar Elders Home Unawatuna to provide lunch for the residents, along with a contribution of essential basic medicines to support their well-being. This meaningful project was carried out with the participation of Lion Uditha, Lion Jayani, Lion Sagarika, Lion Vipul, Lion Rumesh, Lion Edirisinghe, Lion Irushi, and Lion Thanushi.

Our club proudly supported five youth from low-income families by helping them obtain driving licenses for three-wheelers and bikes—completely free of charge. These licenses are not just a means of transportation but a gateway to earning opportunities, allowing recipients to join platforms like Uber and PickMe or start their own small transport services. This life-changing initiative was made possible through the generous support of Ruwansiri Driving School, whose director, our club member Lion Lahiru Ediriweera, personally waived the full cost of Rs. 20,000 per applicant. By opening this door, we are helping young people break the cycle of poverty and drive toward independence with dignity and hope.
