Description

Our club proudly supported five youth from low-income families by helping them obtain driving licenses for three-wheelers and bikes—completely free of charge. These licenses are not just a means of transportation but a gateway to earning opportunities, allowing recipients to join platforms like Uber and PickMe or start their own small transport services. This life-changing initiative was made possible through the generous support of Ruwansiri Driving School, whose director, our club member Lion Lahiru Ediriweera, personally waived the full cost of Rs. 20,000 per applicant. By opening this door, we are helping young people break the cycle of poverty and drive toward independence with dignity and hope.
