Lion Sunil Maddage mjf, maf, fulfilling the responsibility of his cabinet position, provided building materials and repaired the house, which had been unable to be built for several years due to a sudden illness, at a cost of Rs. 3,000,000. The project was implemented from 01 Oct 2024 and completed on the 15th of April, for the birthday.

Providing proper Eye Screening and new eyeglasses to 64 residents of Maviththara area. its worth over 640,000 Rupees. Lion Jayantha Abeygunaratne sponsor this project. මාවිත්තර ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් 64 දෙනෙකු සදහා නිවැරදිව අක්ෂි පරික්ෂා කොට අළුත් ඇස් කණ්නාඩි ලබාදීම. එහි වටිනාකම රුපියල් 640,000 ඉක්මවයි. සිංහ ජයන්ත අබේගුණරත්න මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සදහා අනුග්‍රහය ලබා දෙන ලදී. දිස්ත්‍රික් සිංහාධිපතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් හා පෙර සිංහාධිපති අජිත් ලියනගේ, සිංහ සමාජ සභාපති සිංහ ජයරත්න මනම්පේරි ඇතුළු පොල්ගස්ඕවිට සිංහයන්ගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් 2025 මාර්තු මස 22 සෙනසුරාදා දින සිදු කරන ලදී.

In a heartwarming act of compassion, Lion Buddhi Madushanka personally donated a solar panel system worth Rs. 600,000 to the Shakthi Drushyabadha Pilisarana Padhanama elders’ home in Yatiyana. The home, which supports disabled residents, had been struggling with high electricity bills averaging Rs. 10,000 per month. For years, a dedicated group of individuals stitched clothes to cover these costs. Moved by their sacrifice, Lion Buddhi Madushanka stepped in to fund the solar system, providing sustainable energy and relieving the financial burden. This generous donation ensures reliable power and improves the quality of life for both residents and caretakers, offering them lasting peace of mind. It is a beautiful example of kindness and community support, bringing both light and dignity to those who need it most.

With the valuable support of retired Traffic Police Officer Mr. SI Samarawickrama from the Matara Traffic Police Division, our club successfully conducted an awareness programme on road safety for 23 participants. The session focused on accident prevention, understanding road signs, and driving rules and regulations in Sri Lanka. This initiative aimed to promote responsible driving habits and reduce road-related incidents within our community. We are grateful to Ruwansiri Driving School for generously providing their premises for this important event. Together, we continue to empower individuals with knowledge that ensures safer roads for all.
