This year District White Cane Day celebration was successfully held on 31.10.2024 at Lions Activity Centre.Dr. Manatunga is the District Project Chairman of that project. There was a procession from the Freedom Indipendant Squar to the Lions Activity Center where 100 blind people were given crutches, entertainment, prize distribution and a musical program.

Giving dry food items to a poor family living in Mawatgama
