පිරිපුන් ළමා පරපුරක් බිහිකිරීම සදහා ළමා අපචාර මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය භාවිතයෙන් වළක්වා ගැනීම ජංගම දුරකථන මගින් වන හානියන්ගෙන් දරුවන් මුදා ගැනීමට දෙමාපිය කාර්‍යභාරය හා මනෝවිද්‍යාත්මක ගැටළු සදහා දෙමාපිය දැනූවත් කිරිමේ සාකච්ඡාමය වැඩමුළුවක් ගා/ ගිංතොට මහා විද්‍යාලයේ දෙමාපියන් සඳහා ගරු විදූහල්පතිතුමාගෙ සහ ගුරු මණ්ඩලයේ ඉල්ලීමකට, සහකාර විදුහල්පති කාරියවසම් මහතාගේ ආරාධනයෙන් ඉතාමත් සාර්ථක සහභාගිත්වයක් සමගින් සිදු කිරීමට Galle Royalty සිංහ සමාජයට හැකියාව ලැබුණි. එම වැඩසටහන Galle Royalty සිංහ සමාජයේ උප සභාපති ප්‍රවීණ මනෝවිද්‍යා උපදේශක සිංහ සමන්ත කාරියවසම් MJF මෙහෙයවනු ලැබූ අතර, කලාපීය සභාපති සිංහ රවින්ද්‍ර ප්‍රසාද් MJF Galle Royalty සභාපති සිංහ අමරදිවාකර ලියනාරච්චි සහභාගි විය. දෙමාපිය සහභාගිත්වය 300 ට අධිකව ඉතාමත්ම සාර්ථකව සිදුවූ අතර ශාලාව තුළ මෙන්ම ඉන් පිටතද රැඳී සිටීමට ඔවුන්ට සිදුවිය. මෙම වැඩසටහන පිළිබඳ පසු විපරම සාකච්ඡා කිරීමේදී දෙමාපියන්ගේ ඉහළ ප්‍රතිචාරයක් ලැබුණු අතර ඔවුන්ගේ විවිධ වූ ගැටලු සාකච්ඡාවට බඳුන් කර විසඳුම් ලබාදීමටද අවස්ථාව ලබා දෙනලදී. |

This year District White Cane Day celebration was successfully held on 31.10.2024 at Lions Activity Centre.Dr. Manatunga is the District Project Chairman of that project. There was a procession from the Freedom Indipendant Squar to the Lions Activity Center where 100 blind people were given crutches, entertainment, prize distribution and a musical program.
