February 16, 2025. During this event, we distributed 95 special jackfruit species bud plants to the 95 participants who took part in the initiative. Each plant symbolised our shared responsibility for preserving the environment.
The school’s dedication was shown through their support, as they volunteered their entire Sunday to assist in organizing and hosting the project. These plants were graciously donated by our Past President, Lion Madeera, and his Treasurer for the year, Lion Ayesh Sirithilake, whose generosity made this environmental effort possible.
This initiative not only contributed to environmental awareness but also left a lasting positive impact on the community, helping to create a greener, more sustainable future
