Lions club of Arawwala district 306 A2 together with Lions club of Colombo Oasis District 306 B1 We have successfully completed world Children's day . There are 55 children in this school are mainly from a nearby re habilitation center and mostly rejected applications from other schools.. we didn't stay there until the program end because we had plane another project at 9 am in the mahinda vidyalaya bokundara.

Lion Piyathilaka Dandeniya distributed 50 Nos cultivation kits among 50 villages. Each box contains 60 Nos Brinjal plants, 60 Nos Chillie plants, 01 Lemon Plant & 01 Cherry plant = 122 plants x 50 farmers and 01 Compose bag to each person. Also 50 Nos budded jak plants given to our Lions and some army personnel.

The person who was unable to walk due to a disability that came to know through a friend wanted to be given a wheelchair as soon as possible. The villagers had also built a small house for him to live in. We arranged to give him the wheelchair he needed at that time.
