As a mother of three and someone who is currently facing serious health challenges, this support came at a critically important time. Receiving this assistance brought immense relief and joy, especially in light of her difficult financial circumstances. The donation was made to uplift a family in dire circumstances, bringing immense relief and mobility to someone who had been living without proper support. This noble gesture not only brought joy and gratitude to the mother and her family—including her children, grandchildren, and husband—but also embodied the true spirit of the Singha philosophy: compassion, community service, and dignity for all. Through this meaningful contribution, Legends Lion Club demonstrated their unwavering commitment to serving the most vulnerable in society.

Providing educational support to an undergraduate from University of Moratuwa

Lion Sumudu Amarasinghe donate 10,000.00 rupees everymonth for an undergaaduate student from Uiniversity of Moratuwa and support to that student to overcome his financial difficulties. Lion Sumudu Amarasinghe joins with the student council of university of moratuwa to identify a student and then continue this contribution for 3 years continuosly to support these identified student's financial difficulties. Through this project Lion Sumudu Amarasinghe supports his 2nd year, 3rd year and the 4th (final) year monthly expenses.
