A coral planting program was jointly conducted by the LC Boralesgamuwa Business Circle the LC Miriswatta-Piliyandala , and the LC Boralesgamuwa Metro . The event was held under the leadership of Lion Suresh, the Deputy Cabinet Treasurer of District 306 A2, and Cabinet Officer Lion Dhammika PMJF. The program was also attended by Region 2 chairman Lion Tilina, Lion Nihal Kumar MJF, MAF (President of the LC Miriswatta-Piliyandala ), Lion Kanchaka (Treasurer of the Boralesgamuwa Business Circle ), Lion Asanka, Lion Upali, and Project Chairman lion Nalinda, along with a group of students from the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Peradeniya. |

A coral planting program organized jointly by the Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa Business Circle, the Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa Metro, and the Lions Club of Colombo Dons was held on 13th January 2025 at Rumassala Jungle Beach in Galle. The event was conducted under the leadership of Lions Chinthaka Perera, the Chairman of Region No. 04. During the program, 107 live corals were planted under the supervision of the Department of Wildlife Conservation." |

The first coral planting program of the Lion Year 2025 was organized by the Boralesgamuwa Business Circle Lions Club with the full cooperation of all Lions Clubs in Region 04 and the Boralesgamuwa Metro Lions Club, under the leadership of Region 04 Chairman Lion Chinthaka De Silva. It was held on December 14th near the Rumassala Bonvista Coral Reef in Galle. During this event, coral planting was done using reef balls submerged about 15 feet deep in the sea. This project was conducted under the supervision of the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
