Conducted a mock examination for the children of Pathahawatta Swarnajothi Maha Vidyalaya, Weedagama Lokapila Primary School, Weedagama Primary School, Gungamuwa Primary School and Kamburugoda Primary School who will sit for the Grade 5 scholarship examination. The lecturer was the famous teacher of Mihidu Maha Vidyalaya, Mr. Priyantha Sirimewan. 159 students participated and District Governor gave a gift for each child. After the exam the lecturer personally evaluate the essay of each child and discussed the answers with children.

There are 15 homeless elders care home and this is the third time we visited them and last two time we have offered them breakfast and dinner . this time they asked for tea time refreshments and happily we have offered them the sweet items they asked for.

Dr Lanka Jayasuriya Dissanayake, Trustee of the Indira Cancer Trust - Hair Wig Project as the Guest of Honour at the club's monthly dinner meeting spoke about the Cancer Trust and it's services especially about the Cancer Hair Wig Project. The club donated a sum of Rs 300,000.00 towards the Hair Wig Project and the cheque was handed over to Dr Lanka. The donation was made possible by the courtesy of President Mitabi's son's organisation - Sinergen Lanka. Also prest at the meeting were PDG Paddy Withana and PDG Chandani Withana.

There are 18 male and 12 female inmates in that home. 12 Lins, Lion ladies,Lion prospect and others participated. Project Rs 155,000.00
