One Nimal Edirisinghe, a diabetic & kidney patient has requested financial assistance from us long year ago and Lion Indika Rajapakshe of our club gave his consent to donate funds monthly to his account. Since then, Rs.5000/- is being made to his account through our Club's project account. This transaction is for March 2025.

The Bellanthudawa Royal Ladies Lions Club is delighted to launch a gardening project at the library in Bandaragama City. As part of this initiative, we will be planting local medicinal plants to enhance the greenery and promote a healthier environment. This project also aims to educate the community on the benefits of these plants and their role in natural healing. Cabinet Officer Lion Rasika Weththasinghe actively participated in this initiative, offering support and encouragement. The Bellanthudawa Royal Ladies Lions Club also provided the plants, further contributing to the success of the project. Through this effort, we hope to inspire more people to connect with nature and cultivate their own plants, fostering a stronger and healthier community.

Taking the kids on a trip

Taking children and parents on an excursion for the mental satisfaction and educational awareness of the children who are participating in the project where we teach English and IT subjects from our Lions Club. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea were provided to the children under the auspices of our Lions Club. Also, the entire cost of the bus for the trip was provided by our Lions Club.

Evaluation of public officials

Evaluation of the children who passed the 5 year scholarship examination and the government officials who serve the area. This program was implemented by the combination of several organizations. An amount of Rs.60000/- was spent from the neighboring Ranwalagala Lions Club for this purpose.
