In a dedicated effort to enhance educational resources, the Lions Clubs, led by Project Chairperson Lion Swarnamala Jayathilaka, donated a selection of 100 books to the library of Galle Haupe Kanishka Vidyalaya. This initiative aims to provide students with access to diverse reading materials, promoting literacy and a love for learning.
The initiative saw participation from key Lions members, including Lion A.V. Jayathissa, Governor Lion Prasad Gamage, Region 8 Chairperson Lion Nishantha Rumesh Gamage, Lions Club of Galle Royality President Amaradiwakara Liyanarachchi, and members Lion Samantha Kariyawasam, Lion Chandima Hewawithana, and Lion Manjula Ruwanmali, as well as Lions Club of Galle Karapitiya President Lion Uditha Malawara Arachchi and Region 8 Treasurer Lion Jayanthi Haputhanthri.
