In celebration of Loka Guru Dinaya, the Lions District is organizing "Siha Guru Agayuma 2024" to honor educators for their invaluable contributions. This event aims to express gratitude to teachers for their dedication in shaping future generations. Esteemed guests include Lion Methsiri De Silva, Governor Lion Prasad Gamage, First Lady Lion Nimna Dodamwala, First Vice Governor Lion Udayantha Perera, Lion Dushyanthi Gomez, Second Vice Governor Lion Sunethra Thanthriwaththa, PDG Lion Widya Keerthi Dissanayake, District Chief Organizer Lion Nihal Premajayantha Dissanayake, and District WFC Lion Rasika Weththasinghe, along with many others, including Lion Sarath Sooriarachchi and various Leo members. Activities will highlight the importance of education and recognize teachers' impacts, showcasing the Lions' commitment to supporting education and fostering respect for educators.
