Description

In a further demonstration of community support, the Lions Clubs, including Lion A.V. Jayathissa, Governor Lion Prasad Gamage, Region 8 Chairperson Lion Nishantha Rumesh Gamage, and others, donated 200 exercise books to the students of the Daham Pasala at Galle Haupe Allalagoda Viharasthanaya. This contribution aims to enhance the educational resources available to the children, supporting their learning and development. The initiative was made possible through the efforts of Lions Club of Galle Royality President Amaradiwakara Liyanarachchi, along with members Lion Samantha Kariyawasam, Lion Chandima Hewawithana, and Lion Manjula Ruwanmali, as well as Lions Club of Galle Karapitiya President Lion Uditha Malawara Arachchi and Region 8 Treasurer Lion Jayanthi Haputhanthri. This act of generosity reflects the Lions' commitment to fostering education and empowering the next generation in the community, contributing to a brighter future for the children.
