On the same day as the road development project for Galle Haupe Kanishka Vidyalaya, a dedicated team from the Lions Clubs, including Lion A.V. Jayathissa, Governor Lion Prasad Gamage, Region 8 Chairperson Lion Nishantha Rumesh Gamage, and others, participated in building a house for a poor family in Galle Haupe Wawlagawatta Pradeshiya. This initiative addressed urgent housing needs, providing a safe living environment for the family.
The involvement of Lions Club of Galle Royality President Amaradiwakara Liyanarachchi, along with members Lion Samantha Kariyawasam, Lion Chandima Hewawithana, and Lion Manjula Ruwanmali, as well as Lions Club of Galle Karapitiya President Lion Uditha Malawara Arachchi and Region 8 Treasurer Lion Jayanthi Haputhanthri, exemplifies the spirit of community service.
