Mrs Badrawathi had a cataract surgery few months ago but she has met with an accident at home (the grandson has mistakenly hit her eye with a ball). Her lens was damaged an eye surgeon has recommended an emergency surgery of removing the old lens and implant a fresh lens. Lion Janaka de silva sponsored all expenses of Badrawathi and got the lens and other facilities to save her eye. None of us could personally attend at the ward because it happened during non visitor time. We are planning to visit her personaly in the evening on 2nd May
