On the 9th of March 2025, the Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa Business Circle, Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa Metro, Lions Club of Mampe, and Lions Club of Batuwandara, in collaboration with local volunteers, successfully conducted a Beach Cleaning Project at Rumassala, Galle. The project was aimed at reducing plastic pollution and improving the overall cleanliness of the beach, contributing to a healthier coastal environment.
The initiative was led by Lion Prasad Gamage PMJF,PMAF,JP, District Governor of 306 A2, with the participation of other prominent Lions leaders including:

The day began with a dedicated group of volunteers arriving early at the beach to start the cleanup effort
