A special Medical Camp was successfully organized at MHS Elpitiya by the Lions Club of Galle Karapitiya, in collaboration with the Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) of the Elpitiya area. This community-focused initiative was designed specifically for the primary students, aiming to promote early health awareness and preventive care. The camp featured comprehensive health screenings, including: * Body Mass Index (BMI): Height and weight measurements were taken to assess healthy growth. * Skin Check: Basic skin examinations were carried out to detect any common dermatological issues. * Dental Hygiene Screening: Oral health checks helped identify early signs of dental problems and encouraged good brushing habits. * Nutritional Guidance: Parents received advice on balanced diets and proper nutrition essential for their child’s development.
