Description

On 30th March 2025, a comprehensive vision screening & calibrated reading glasses were conducted at Kirigala Praja Shalawa, Handapangoda, benefiting a total of 119 individuals. During the program, a 45-year-old male was found to have undiagnosed vision loss. He was promptly referred to the Base Hospital, Horana for further assessment and treatment, paving the way for a better quality of life. This initiative underscores the importance of early detection and community health outreach in preventing avoidable vision impairment. Project was funded a friend of Lion Saman Kindelpitiya
