On April 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the Legends Lions Club organized a special awareness project at Akura Educational Institute, Galle, to educate approximately 100 parents of O/L students on making informed academic and personal decisions for their children. The session covered A/L subject selection based on students' interests and future aspirations, along with guidance on securing their well-being and proper supervision. Expert insights were shared by a psychologist, a medical student, and a media professional, while Lions Club President Lion Methsiri de Silva conducted a special session on personality development. Participants also received refreshments, including cake and milk packets, with a total expenditure of Rs. 19,400 covered by the Legends Lions Club. The event was attended by Region 8 Zone 2 President Lion Ravindra Prasad, Charter President Lion Ranjith Jayathileke, Club President Lion Methsiri de Silva, and other key members, ensuring its success and impact.
