Our club made a heartfelt donation of 170 packets of Isocal and Sastacal, nutritionally complete, purpose-formulated powders designed to feed patients unable to receive adequate nutrition orally. These were donated to children battling cancer at Apeksha Hospital. The donation was handed over to the hospital’s donation unit in the presence of First Lady Lion Nimna Dodanwala and the Director of Apeksha Hospital, Dr. Aruna Jayasekara. Of the total, 104 tins were donated by our club members, while the remaining 66 were generously contributed by non-Lions supporters. This project goes beyond just giving; it’s about offering hope, love, and support to children and families facing the toughest battles. It was an emotional and deeply meaningful initiative—one of the most impactful and touching projects our club has had the privilege to be part of.
