On Sunday, August 11, 2024, the Lions Club of Madurawala, in collaboration with the doctors from Galpatha Rural Hospital, organized a successful program aimed at preventing non-communicable diseases. The event took place at the Palpola Sanasa building, attracting over 200 participants. Beginning at 9:30 AM, the program focused on raising awareness about non-communicable diseases and promoting healthy lifestyle choices within the community. The collaboration between the Lions Club and healthcare professionals ensured that attendees received valuable insights and resources to improve their health and well-being.
