On March 3rd, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a meaningful charitable initiative took place at the Galle Bonavista Elders Home, organized by the Young Members of the Buddhist Association (YMBA). The project provided evening meals for 167 residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The necessary funds were generously sponsored by Legends Lions Club President, Lion Karunadasa Weeraratne. The event began with a Buddhist offering and blessings, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. YMBA President was also present, engaging with the residents as they received the meal with gratitude. The Elders Home administration highly appreciated this effort, recognizing it as a valuable act of service. This project not only brought joy to the residents but also reflected the Lions’ commitment to selfless giving and community support.
