On February 27th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, a charitable initiative took place at Lion Harshani Sirimanne’s residence to support a mother from Galle-Akurassa, whose husband had lost his job recently. Expecting her second child, she received essential maternity and newborn care items, following medical advice, to ensure a safe delivery. The donation, valued at Rs. 17,077, aimed to provide maximum support. This noble act was connected to Lion Harshani’s family, with a heartfelt contribution. Legends Lions Club President, Lion Methsiri De Silva, also participated. The mother expressed deep gratitude, finding comfort and relief through this generous act, reflecting the true spirit of the Lions' mission.
