In collaboration with Darshana Opticals in Matara, our club successfully conducted an eye screening program for 120 participants, consisting of family members of Primary Model School students. The initiative aimed to identify vision impairments and provide necessary referrals for further checkups. Participants with weak eyesight were guided toward obtaining prescription lenses and spectacles, ensuring they received the appropriate vision care. This project played a crucial role in raising awareness about eye health and addressing undiagnosed vision issues within the community. Many individuals were unaware of their eyesight problems, and through this initiative, they gained access to expert guidance and essential optical care. By providing early detection and necessary referrals, we reinforced our commitment to improving community health and well-being, ensuring better vision and a brighter future for all participants.
