Description

We had our Finland Foster students their parents and guardians to receive their scholarship funds on 17th August. Lions Club of Galupura Central have planned bringing holistic education to our foster kids to become a useful citizen to country. Statistics have proven that out of road accidents the youth is taking a major potion of it. The project coordinator Lion Jayamini got the Galle police traffic OIC to come and deliver an awareness and strict advice on road safety, common accidents, causes of accidents, safety procedures when walking, riding bicycles, crossing road, using public transport. Awareness of risk mitigation, how to avoid dangers on road. They were made aware how important their lives and not to get their lives in threat. They understood ‘Safety is first’. Event was graced by District Governor Lion Prasad Gamage PMJF,PMAF,JP , Lion Sunethra MJF MAF, Saman, Felician, P.S.Pettanayeke, Gayan, Rangith, Vipul, Jayamini, Nellie, Ruwan, Palitha, Piyathilaka, Leela and Thanuja
