This is to certify that our Lions Club has arranged monthly scholarships for 36 underprivileged children as part of our ongoing service efforts. The total scholarship disbursement amounts to Rs. 49,500. The breakdown is as follows: Rs. 2,500 per student for 3 students: Rs. 7,500 Rs. 2,000 per student for 7 students: Rs. 14,000 Rs. 1,500 per student for 6 students: Rs. 9,000 Rs. 1,000 per student for 16 students: Rs. 16,000 Rs. 750 per student for 4 students: Rs. 3,000 The project is chaired by our veteran Lion Chitral Jayawardena, who has successfully arranged sponsorships through his close relatives in Australia. We carry out this project through our Help-A-Student Account at People’s Bank, Kirulapona Branch (Account No: 319-1-001-9-1141096). This has been our signature project for nearly 10 years.
