Workshop on IoT for Inventors

This was a workshop which provided the young inventors from multiple schools. This workshop provided students an interactive introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT), covering foundational concepts, real-world applications, and hands-on experience with IoT technology. The participants from multiple schools including Prince of Wales College, Piliyandala Central College, St. Sebastian Colllege Moratuwa and Gurukula Vidyalaya Kelaniya. Lion Jayavilal Meegoda took part in this project as a key resource person. This workshop was facilitated by the IT faculty of University of Moratuwa.

Workshop on Invention for Prince of Wales College

This workshop was conducted to promote Invention and Innovative skills and guide the children towards the international competitions. Around 97 Students took part in this workshop. In this workshop students were briefed about the road map to international invention competitions such as Internal Science and Engineering fair USA, Taiwan Science and Invention Competition. In addition, knowledge was shared on research methodologies, and they were asked to put their knowledge to practice using presentations and technical discussions

Cleanup of the Kesbewa Lake Area

This is a Zone project organized by the Lions club and Lions, Leos of Polgaosiwta Leo club and SLTC and the Regional Chairperson Lion Chinthaka De Silva and Zonal Chairman Lion Gayan Ramasinghe took part. In this project participants cleaned the area around the lake including the walking track to create a pleasant environment.
