Collecting Posters for PEACE Poster Contest 2024-2025 "Peace Without Limits" - (Part 1)

In alignment with the Peace Poster Contest for 2024-2025 under the theme “Peace Without Limits,” this project involved collecting posters created by children from Galle Kithulampitiya Ananda School. Under the guidance of Project Chairman Methsiri Alexander De Silva, the project was part of the "Future Builders – Siyak Sipsal Program" within the Service Group of Satisfaction. The students actively participated in the contest, expressing their vision of peace through art. This collection drive was conducted in a timely manner, enabling the submission of selected posters to the LCI District Chairperson.

Renovation of Ward no 04 at General Hospital Horana.

Ward no 04 (Mothers Ward) of General Hospital Horana was Fully Renovated and Handed over to the Hospital Officials On 22.10.2024. District Governor lion Prasad Gamage and FVDG lion Priyantha Perera also participated to the event. DG Was the chief guest. Constructed a Bus Halt at Horana Moronthuduwa Main Road. Near the Hegalla Junior School. Project chairperson was lion Dayapala Pathirage. The Bus Halt Declared open on 22.10.2024 Chief guest to the event was District Governor Lion Prasad Gamage. Awareness programme for School children.

Project Chairman : Dayapala Pathirage

Conducted an awareness programme for school children of Hegalla junior school. Objectives of the program was changing the Attitudes and life skills development. This Activity was done parallel to multi service projects organized at Hegalla Junior School. Out side trainer delivered the lecture. Beneficiaries-185 (total population of the school) Participation-lions 17 L/L4 Others-50 (parents of the students) Total volunteer hours-71 (including non Lions) Lion hours-17 -(excluding non Lions) District Governor also participated to the project as the chief guest. Provided Snacks and Milk tea to Hegalla junior school children and teachers. End of the multi service projects at Hegalla Junior School all students and teachers were given Snacks and milk tea. Garbage Collection Program

We organize a program together with Urban Council, Karadiyana Garbage Management Center to collect plastic and all the other non disposable garbage. Main target to reduce dengue breading in the area.
