On March 3rd, from 6:15 PM to 10:00 PM, a musical evening was held at Bonavista Elders Home, Unawatuna, Galle, bringing joy to the residents. The Legends Lions Club, along with another Lions Club, organized a live music session, featuring Lions with singing talents. Elderly residents, Galle YMBA President, board members, and community members joined the event.Snack packs worth Rs. 12,000 and a sound system worth Rs. 14,000 were sponsored, totaling Rs. 26,000. The musical performance brought immense joy to the residents, with Lions singing and the elders happily joining in the celebration. Legends Lions Club’s Guiding Lion, Sagarika Jayaratne, and Galle Business Lions Club member, Lion Samantha Kanakaratne, also participated.The event created a memorable experience, where the residents clapped, sang along, and even danced to the rhythm. The Lions Club’s selfless service continues to make a positive impact in the community.
