On February 25th, at the residence of Lion Methsiri De Silva, the Galle Legends Lions Club came together in a heartfelt act of generosity to support a destitute mother of two. Answering a request made through the club’s president, a relief package worth LKR 5,415, inclusive of essential food and supplies, was donated to provide much-needed assistance. The mother, facing extreme hardship without a source of income, was granted this aid to help sustain herself and her children. The initiative was carried out with the participation of club members, including Treasurer Lion Chaminda Godakandage, Lion Suranga Rajamanthri, and Lion Methsiri De Silva. The funds collected were rightfully allocated with gratitude extended to all contributors who made this noble effort possible.
