On 1st September 2024, Region 01 launched their first program under District Governor Lion Prasad Gamage's 5-point plan: "Wellness for Lions." The program started with a Water Aerobics session led by Coach Lion Kithsiri Ihalagamage, President of L/C Wellawatte West, at the Swimming Complex of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. District Governor Lion Prasad Gamage, 1st Vice District Governor Lion Priyantha Perera, and Lion Lady Dushanthi joined the session, which will continue on the first Sunday of every month. Organized by Region Chairperson Lion Heshini Siriwardena, the session was a great success and a fantastic way to boost our energy to serve more! |
