Certification of Wellness for Lions Program - Region 01 This is to certify that we held the first session of the Wellness for Lions program on 1st September 2024 at the Swimming Complex, University of Sri Jayawardenapura. The event was graced by the presence of Lion Prasad Gamage, District Governor, Lion Priyantha Perera, First Vice District Governor, and Lion Lady Dushanthi. The water aerobics session for the wellness of Region 01 Lions was conducted by Lion Kithsiri Ihalagamage, President of the Lions Club of Wellawatte West.

2024 ඔක්තෝබර් මස 11 වන දින කිතුලම්පිටිය ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයේ මාධ්‍ය දිනය ගාලු දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සියලු පාසල් නියෝජනය කරමින් පාසල් සිසුන් 200 කගේ පමණ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් කිතුලම්පිටිය ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයේදී අති සාර්ථකව නිමාව දකින ලදි. ඒ සදහා ගාල්ල කරාපිටිය සිංහ සමාජයේ අනුග්‍රාහකත්වය හා ජාතික රුපවාහිනී සංස්ථාවේ මාධ්‍ය ආවරණය ලබා දුන් අතර නිවැරදි මාධ්‍ය භාවිතය, නිවැරදි මාධ්‍ය වචන භාවිතය, පිළිබදව තරුණ ප්‍රජාවට නිසි අවබෝධයක් ලබා දීම හා මාධ්‍ය ක්ෂේත්‍රයට පිවිසීමට ඇති අවස්ථා පෙන්වා දීම මෙහි මූලික අරමුණු විය.

Celebrated world children’s day with 210 students of Opatha Rahula Primary School, Galle by providing breakfast, ice cream, donated books for the children and for the school library. Club members performed their talents to entertain the children.
