Lions club of Galupura Central visit Vanrith Home on 1st October each year to commemorate the world elders day. This time we served 80 inhouse elders including sick rev fathers and sisters. Our club always reach diverse communities in our activities to bring equity and equality for our club work. We gave a tasty snack for evening tea and had a sing along with them. Further to this we donated dry rations, washing powder, toilet detergents ect

Lion Malini support the payments for the Dancing teacher who train the students at the Akmeemana special education centre every month by paying the teacher Rs 10,000. Pragathi - Sponsorship for speech therapist

Lions Club of Galupura Central was contacted by the consultant Pediatrician Dr Bahini requesting to help recruiting a speech therapist. We have recruited a therapist as per the need and paying her Rs 30,000 per month under sponsorship of Volunteer Sri Lanka (Founder Mr Janaka De Silva) every month. First payment for her work was paid on 4th October. Her signature sheet with the work covered and the payment slip attached for reference. Please note no photographs will be shared under this project.

Bulathwelkanda Vidyalaya is situated in Panamure village which is a very rural area of Ratnapura District in Sabaragamuwa Province. Principal of this Vidyalaya has requested our President for a donation of educational items for the students, almost all are coming from poor families and liiving with hard. Most of their parents are farmers.
